Star Building Supply is proud to now offer complete Residential & Light Commercial design and planning services from our Kokomo office. Joining our team to make this possible is Nationally award winning designer Joey Martin, formally of Martin Drafting & Design. Joey brings almost 20 years of design and construction experience to Star to help us provide unparraled service to our customers.
We start by using this Planning Guide, then becoming increasingly more involved. Your dream home will be designed by a Professional Building Designer, as recognized by the American Institute of Building Design, dedicated to providing the best service possible. Your home design will follow criteria set forth during our design meetings, and by viewing various inspiration pictures, provider selection books, and 3 dimensional views of the home in progress. Every detail, from footings to ridges, will be accounted for and once the design process ends, your construction plans will be prepared, any and all specifications written, and the project can then move forward to the permitting, and finally the construction phase.

What is dynamic pricing, how does it work, and why should I care?
Dynamic pricing will change the way you and your builder will work. Time was you had to visit your designers office to get a copy of your home plans, take them to your builder, who would then have to make serveral trips around town to chase down Sub-Contractors and suppliers for pricing and material quotes. Not any longer!! With the design office in the same building with the guys doing take-offs, your design gets priced in real time....meaning as we layout a set of plans, multiple members of our team are already working to get the materials quotes so that in a matter of days, not weeks, your project is off the ground! You save time, your builder saves time, and both of you then save money!!
Plans Rooms
With the addition of a Plans Room hosted here on Star's website. No longer will anyone on your team have to wonder when they get a set of plans. All clients will have password protected files here on the site that they can access anytime, and your sub-contractors can access your files, with your permission, to obtain copies of the plans for bidding.
In-House Printing
If you, or your builder, needs a paper copy of the plans, no need to look any further! Just give Joey a call or fill out the order form on the plan room page to order the paper copies you need right from Star! We offer large format printing at the best price in town, so why look anywhere else.
